About loss, theft or fraud

Barclaycard Business works hard to protect your business interests, that's why we're the 1st in the UK to issue Purchasing cards with embedded chips to help prevent fraudulent transactions. However we need your help to reduce theft and fraud even further.

Each Cardholder is responsible for ensuring their card (and PIN if they have one) is kept safe at all times. Once a card has been reported lost, stolen or is suspected as being used fraudulently, a block will immediately be placed on it. If the card is subsequently recovered, it must not be used, but destroyed (by cutting it in half through the magnetic strip) and disposed of in a secure manner. If a Cardholder loses the card abroad, a temporary card will be issued.
