Electronic processing

Once you have checked the card you should then follow the instructions in your Terminal Operating Guide.

Where necessary, your terminal will seek authorisation for you, and when the transaction is complete, forward it to Barclaycard Business for processing.

Once the transaction has been processed your bank account will be credited with the total amount due.

Next you will receive your Merchant Service Charge statement which will detail the number and value of transactions Barclaycard Business processed for you and the amount of Service Charge that is due.
