Cabs take on board contactless card payments

This week, Barclaycard Business and Computer Cab plc come together to unveil how the first taxi contactless payments terminal could look, at the Business Travel Show in Earls Court.

Barclaycard Business has fitted a ComCab ‘concept cab’ with Visa ‘wave and pay’ technology to demonstrate how Computer Cab plc could offer customers a secure, efficient and convenient payment method for low value taxi fares and reduce the need to handle cash.”
