You can also accept American Express, but you will first need to apply for an American Express Internet Merchant Number.

  • Call American Express direct on 0800 44 42 62, quoting BMS001.
  • They will let you know whether you have been accepted, and provide your Internet Merchant Number in about 10 days.
  • They will also tell us your Merchant Number, and we can then enable you to accept American Express cards.

Your contract will be directly with American Express, and they will make their own charges, which may not be the same as our standard charges.
