Travel insurance and accident cover

Barclaycard Business offer both Corporate Silver and Corporate Gold cardholders various levels of travel insurance cover.

Corporate Silver Card

Our cardholders are automatically covered for the following:

• Personal Travel Accident Cover whilst in transit on public transport - up to £100,000 for 4 people including the cardholder.
• Travel Delay Insurance - up to £25 per hour up to a maximum 12 hours.
• Delayed and replacement baggage insurance - up to £50 per hour up to a maximum of £300 per person.
• Document replacement - includes courier charges, reprinting and sending faxes up to a maximum of £1,000.
• Legal Expenses - up to £25,000

All you need to do to validate this service is use your card to pay for your trip. This will also cover up to three other people on the same trip.

However, we do recommend that extra travel insurance be taken out in addition to our own.

Corporate Gold Card

Corporate Gold cardholders may take advantage of these services, in addition to the services offered with a Silver Card, when business travel costs are charged to their card:

• Emergency Medical Expenses - up to £2 million worldwide.
• Personal Accident Benefit of £250,000 during your trip when travelling on Public Transport, £25,000 at any other time while you’re there.
• Personal Liability - up to £1 million.
• Evacuation & Repatriation Expenses - up to £1 million.
• Legal expenses - up to £25,000.
• Cancellation - up to £3,000.
• Personal Baggage replacement - up to £1,200.
• Hospital Benefit - £25 per day (for a maximum of 30 days or £750).
• Emergency personnel replacement up to £1,000.
• Lost Money - replacement up to the value of £500.
• Emergency Transport should you fall ill - up to £10,000.
