Barclaycard Business provides two types of statements: company summary statements and detailed cardholder statements.

The company will receive both of these to help you track cashflow and reduce the time you spend on administration.

Barclaycard Business will also arrange to send an additional copy of each cardholder's statement directly to the cardholder. If you do not need this, please contact us.

If there have not been any transactions on your Barclaycard Business account during a statement period, a statement will not be issued. This applies to both individual cardholder statements and company summary statements.

Company Summary Statements

Each month, a company summary statement will be sent, which provides a detailed breakdown of payments, adjustments and charges, along with an analysis of cardholder's expenditure broken down into 34 supplier categories. It also shows any individual cardholders' expenditure limits you have set up and amount spent - enabling you to track cardholder spending and determine whether your businesses limit, or any individual limits allocated are still appropriate.

Individual cardholder statements

Individual cardholder statements are also provided, containing a more detailed breakdown of each transaction, including data on suppliers, purchase dates, reference numbers and amounts. Any overseas transactions are recorded in sterling with the original currency amount and country of purchase also stated.

All companies with a Barclaycard Business account will also receive an additional management information report on an annual basis.
