Quick and easy with ePDQ CPI - Our End to End solution

When you apply for ePDQ CPI, it comes ready-built with Internet Authentication, requiring minimal configuration.

Internet Authentication hosted service

If you use our ePDQ MPI or one of our approved PSP's you can use our Hosted solution which allows you to benefit from Internet Authentication. However, you will need technical expertise to integrate this service and it would be worth considering switching to the ePDQ CPI.

Internet Authentication protection is clearly flagged

We have configured the ePDQ CPI to flag Visa and MasterCard transactions clearly to show if Internet Authentication has been used, and whether the transaction will qualify for liability shift if it turns out to be fraudulent. If you use ePDQ MPI or an approved PSP then you are responsible for the configuration.

Encourage online shopping

Internet Authentication is expected to increase the confidence of cardholders which in turn will increase the numbers buying on the Internet.

Once Visa and MasterCard cardholders are registered with passwords from their card issuer, they'll prefer to use retailers which offer them the reassurance of Internet Authentication. As a Internet Authentication registered trader, you'll attract security-conscious customers, including many new purchasers who have perhaps been nervous about shopping online in the past. Visa research suggests that 84%^† of people who don't yet shop online will be more willing to try it, and 71%^† of people who already shop online will shop more often.

Internet Authentication currently covers all Visa cards issued globally (except Visa Cash) and MasterCard cards issued in Europe for all Internet transactions.
