Electronic top ups

How it works

How E-Top Up works

At point of sale

  • Customers visit your premises to top up their call time. Their swipe card will show a network provider's logo and the green Top Up logo.
  • The customer tells you how much time they want to buy. They can pay by any method you usually accept.
  • You top up their mobile phone by swiping their network card through your PDQ terminal.
  • Their talk time is topped up straight away, and the terminal prints a receipt showing the amount of time purchased and the telephone number of the topped-up phone.

Administration and finances

  • We keep a record of the amount of call time you've sold, the payments you've accepted, and the commission you've earned.
  • Each week we collect your takings by Direct Debit and we'll pay any commission due to you monthly.
  • Your monthly Barclaycard Business statement shows all your E-Top Up transactions, commission and collections.
