With your Gift Card programme you get access to online Management Information (MI) allowing you to keep track of the performance of individual stores and see individual card balances.

You can then use this MI to analyse customer spending patterns, to help with your business planning and strategy.

Safe and secure

Because Gift Cards have little intrinsic value until they’re credited, they represent a very low theft risk compared to paper
vouchers. And of course you don’t need to pay out for the value on the Gift Cards up front.

You’re also better protected against fraud than with paper vouchers, as Gift Cards are much more difficult to forge.

More than just presents

Gift Cards can also be used to give refunds and as credit notes, keeping the money in your business. Plus, your
customers can use them as prepaid cards for budgeting, or as a way of saving – for Christmas, for example.

Another possibility with Gift Cards is to use them as incentives in promotional campaigns – such as prizes in competitions and draws – or as part of a loyalty scheme to reward frequent or high-value purchases.

Simple set - up

The Gift Card programme can be quickly and seamlessly integrated into Barclaycard Business PDQ terminals, without any additional technology.

There is a small charge for the cards themselves. Then every time one is used you’re just charged a Gift Card transaction fee.

When we set you up with Gift Cards we’ll also provide you with a simple user guide, explaining how they work. Plus we will help you put in place a range of display materials to promote Gift Cards to your customers.

The Gift Card programme can also be integrated into any other EPOS systems you have. Your Barclaycard Business representative will be happy to discuss this process with you and any costs involved.
